Floor plan for Film shoot
Before the shoot, I made notes on multiple things that would help me doing shoot. As I have ADHD, I tend to forget things a lot and As I was doing my project alone, I needed to make sure I shoot everything as I planned it so It also doesn't effect me in future doing the editing process.
I also wrote what things I had to do when I reach there for Eg. Taking the extra shots without my actors present.
The story Board I made also helped me a lot during the shoot as I used to look at it every-time I forgot what shots are left now and how they should be shot keeping in mind the editing.

Production studio logo
My name is Iqra Hassan Khan so now I know why my production studio is 'IHK productions'. I know, I know, I known I sound like a narcissist and self-obsessed kewl teenager who thinks using her name;s abbreviation would make her cool but let's just be honest, IHK sounds pretty cool. I did think of a couple of names before this but I mean, If I am doing my project alone, why not take this opportunity of naming my production logo 'IHK'. I used the colours yellow and orange as these colors represents hope, happiness and positivity and these words describe my personality. I plan on making a video in which production slides in to IHK and then attach it with my film opening.
Phone-ography Unleashed
I shot the film opening with my IPhone 12 Pro. When we go to the videos option, we can record video on HD or 4K. I choose 4K resolution for the absolute best video quality.
Then we get an option of 24,30,60 fps. I record on 60 fps as 60 fps always make captured motion look very smooth. 60 fps captures more details compared to 30 fps and I wanted my video to be in the best quality possible.

Character Board #2
Two outfits were shalwar kameez that is a Pakistani cultural dress that typical common women in Pakistan wear at their homes or outside their homes.
Another outfit was black shirt with blue jeans. Jeans are suitable for staying cozy and stylish.
.
This
is the colour pallete I followed for the women's outifts. Pink and red
colours are said to be girly and feminine and I wanted to give this
effect by choosing such colours.
Character Board #1
I have added pyjamas in the outfit design as there are a lot of scenes where shooting has to be done at home so the actor needs to be in comfy clothes just the way people dress up at their homes.
He is a 25 year old man who goes to the office to earn for his family so a formal wear was needed to show how he came home from office and is wearing his office shirt.
Jeans with a cotton shirt is a semi formal outfit as I have added pyjamas and pants there had to be a scene in which he is wearing jeans- an outfit that you would wear to look presentable.
This
is the colour pallette for the actor. The outfits will be of these
colours. Colours like blue and black are mostly perceived as masculine
and high levels of brightness tend to increase femininity so I wanted the actor to look really masculine.

Color Pallette
Two type of colour is pallets would be used as there are parallel cuts. For the Present, White to black colour pallets would be used. Black is the colour that shows darkness, white brings in brightness and grey comes in between them. These colours are often associated with life and death.
The Price of Creativity?
My
budget was Rs.6000, and I had to stay within my budget throughout the project which I was confident about as I had already checked the prices of my food and props.
I did
not have to pay for the travel costs of the actors as they came to the
location themselves.
Rs.5000 was the budget for feeding my actors.
I had to make fake blood so I ordered the ingredients on food panda:
Corn Syrup- Rs.380
Cocoa powder- Rs.215
Evidence of budget during production:
(Note: My budget Limit did not exceed so I am kinda proud of myself)

Unveiling The Cast
Cast Requirements: I needed two characters for my film opening: one male character: 25 year-old man who plays the role of the husband and one female character: 22-year old women who plays the role of the wife. I tried finding them in my social circle as Otherwise I would have to pay them to be a part of my film And I am a broke teenager with 6000 rupee budget so I started to look around and found some male and female friends. I was very lucky to find have the right people as their looks and personality matched the persona of my characters. and Despite of them being extremely awkward and introverts who hates to be in front of the camera they surprisingly both agreed to do the shoot. (Let's not talk about how I bribed them before to be a part of my film but just gave them some good free food in return).
Evidence of correspondence and communication with the cast and crew:
I messaged my male actor on instagram if he can be a part of my project and sent them voice notes explaining the entire story and what his role so they can act accordingly. My actor is in A2 and his mocks were right around the corner so I faced this one problem in deciding the dates of shoot but thankfully, we managed to decide on the dates in which both of us were free.
25 year-old man who plays the role of the husband .
Same goes for the female actress- through whatsapp
A 22-year old women who plays the role of the wife.
In short, I found the perfect characters for my film opening. The husband had a beard, looked like a 25 year old and a wife was an elegant lady who looked like a 22 year old. The man’s height was 5’10 and the woman’s height was 5’6. Both of them had to come in the same frame in some scenes so this height difference was what was needed.

Mood boards
I made two Mood boards, One for the entire bed scene and the other for the one that would be appear after the parallel cuts. This one was for the shots inside the house where the lighing in naturally coming from the curtains and it's morning. I wanted to give a horror effect on this one.
The second one was for all the background scenes and even for the flashbacks. I wanted to shoot all of them in natural day time, and the setting and location that I have in mind also matches the mood board.
